Chase bank statement PDF to Excel

Chase customers can download PDF statements from the Statements & documents section of online banking. Here it becomes an Excel sheet in seconds – the file never leaves your browser.

What to expect from Chase statements

Chase lists dates as MM/DD without a year; the converter takes the year from the statement period and reads amounts with a minus sign as money out. If your statement is laid out differently, the converter says so instead of giving you wrong numbers.

Three steps

  1. Save your Chase statement as a PDF from online banking.
  2. Drop the file above.
  3. Download Excel (.xlsx) or CSV and import it into your accounting.

FAQ

Is my statement uploaded?

No. The PDF is read entirely in your browser. There is no server that receives files – you can verify this in your browser’s network tab.

How reliable is the conversion?

The converter finds the transaction table, detects date, text, amount and balance, and checks every row against the running balance when there is one. If it is unsure it says so and only offers the raw data as CSV – instead of wrong numbers. It was tested with replica sample statements in more than 20 layouts from nine countries; real statements from your bank may differ, so spot-check.

Do scanned statements work?

No. The tool only reads PDFs with embedded text (the kind banks provide in online banking). Photos or scans are not recognised.

What does it cost?

Free right now. Later: a few pages per day free, unlimited with Pro. See Pricing.
