Bank statement to Excel for accountants and bookkeepers
Clients send PDF statements; you need rows in a spreadsheet. Convert them in seconds without uploading client data anywhere.
No upload – runs in your browserNothing storedExcel & CSVAlready have a key?
Client data stays put
Nothing is uploaded, so there is no third-party processor to disclose to your client.
Real numbers and dates
The Excel file has numeric amounts and true date cells, ready for pivot tables, VLOOKUP or import into your bookkeeping tool.
Honest checks
Rows are cross-checked against the running balance. If the layout is unclear you are told, instead of silently getting wrong amounts.
FAQ
Is my statement uploaded?
No. The PDF is read entirely in your browser. There is no server that receives files – you can verify this in your browser’s network tab.
How reliable is the conversion?
The converter finds the transaction table, detects date, text, amount and balance, and checks every row against the running balance when there is one. If it is unsure it says so and only offers the raw data as CSV – instead of wrong numbers. It was tested with replica sample statements in more than 20 layouts from nine countries; real statements from your bank may differ, so spot-check.
Do scanned statements work?
No. The tool only reads PDFs with embedded text (the kind banks provide in online banking). Photos or scans are not recognised.
What does it cost?
Free right now. Later: a few pages per day free, unlimited with Pro. See Pricing.
