Convert a bank statement PDF to CSV
Need a CSV for your accounting software or a script? Drop the PDF below and download a clean CSV with date, description, amount and balance.
No upload – runs in your browserNothing storedExcel & CSVAlready have a key?
What the CSV contains
One row per transaction: date (YYYY-MM-DD), value date, description, amount (negative = money out), running balance. Multi-line descriptions are joined into one cell.
Why not copy-paste from the PDF?
Copying from a PDF mixes columns and splits descriptions over several lines. The converter finds the table, keeps columns apart and assigns wrapped lines to the right transaction.
Private by design
The PDF never leaves your browser, so you can use it for real statements.
FAQ
Is my statement uploaded?
No. The PDF is read entirely in your browser. There is no server that receives files – you can verify this in your browser’s network tab.
How reliable is the conversion?
The converter finds the transaction table, detects date, text, amount and balance, and checks every row against the running balance when there is one. If it is unsure it says so and only offers the raw data as CSV – instead of wrong numbers. It was tested with replica sample statements in more than 20 layouts from nine countries; real statements from your bank may differ, so spot-check.
Do scanned statements work?
No. The tool only reads PDFs with embedded text (the kind banks provide in online banking). Photos or scans are not recognised.
What does it cost?
Free right now. Later: a few pages per day free, unlimited with Pro. See Pricing.
